Job Description Salary: $35 - $45 per hour commensurate with experience Commercial Electrical Field Project Manager
Overview Brda Electric is seeking an experienced and highly organized Electrical Field Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial electrical projects from start to finish. This role ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards. As a key member of our Commercial Department, youll coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage field crews, and serve as a vital communication hub across the job lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Oversee and manage the full project lifecycle from kickoff through closeout. Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment rentals. Maintain project alignment with schedule, scope, and budget targets. Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E), and Brda Electric standards. Planning & Scheduling Participate in internal kickoff meetings for projects exceeding certain thresholds Create and maintain project schedules using the Project Operations Manual (POM). Collaborate with the Project Analyst to book timelines and field resources via Google Calendar and ServiceTitan. Coordinate walk-throughs with estimators and pre-job logistics. Field Operations Conduct jobsite readiness assessments and assign
electricians/apprentices. Verify site access, utility availability, and materials delivery. Monitor jobsite safety with pre-task planning, JHAs, and audits. Track and approve field costs, invoices, and subcontractor compliance. Execution & Quality Assurance Lead jobsite mobilization and progress monitoring. Ensure as-built drawings and O&M manuals are maintained throughout the project. Perform quality checks and manage change orders in coordination with estimators. Schedule and confirm required inspections. Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary point of contact for field technicians regarding scheduling or issues. Deliver weekly report cards to the Project Analyst and Commercial Department Manager. Maintain detailed project logs of changes, risks, and key decisions. Provide updates to clients and internal teams through site meetings and emails. Closeout & Documentation Lead final inspections, testing, and client sign-offs. Ensure completion of punch list items and archive final documentation in ServiceTitan. Coordinate material returns and site cleanup.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Project Management in Construction or Electrical. Understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems. Proficient in job costing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. Strong working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E. Proficiency in ServiceTitan or similar field management software. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Skills Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred. Experience with project estimation or project controls is a plus. Background in Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Calendar).
