Qualcomm’s Datacenter Business Unit . We are seeking a highly motivated
Finance Manager
to
lead pricing and commercial analytics
across the Datacenter product portfolio. The ideal candidate brings direct experience working in the AI Datacenter industry, strong financial analysis experience, excellent executive‑ready communication skills, and a track record of driving results in a matrixed environment. This role owns
pricing strategy and governance ,
incentive/rebate management , and
deal analytics , while building scalable reporting and partnering closely with Product Management, Business Development, Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, and FP&A.
This is a high‑visibility role that regularly provides insights and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling profitable growth while ensuring strong controls and compliance.
Pricing Strategy & Governance
Develop and maintain
pricing frameworks , discount guardrails, and approval matrices to ensure
consistent, compliant
deal execution across markets, channels, and segments.
Lead or co‑lead the
deal desk
process, standardizing approval workflows and documentation to comply with
SOX
and internal policies.
Own
price list governance , SKU/portfolio pricing updates/approvals, and integration with financial systems.
Deal Support & Commercial Analytics
Provide
financial and business analysis
to Product Management and Business Development in support of
deal negotiations
(e.g., AI‑perf/TCO/Pricing sensitivity analyses, price‑volume scenarios, ASP/margin impacts, rebate structures, accounting implications).
Build and maintain robust
deal models
that incorporate COGS, volumes, mix, rebates/incentives, and contractual terms.
Deliver executive‑ready recommendations balancing growth, share, and margin objectives.
Incentive & Rebate Management
Manage
tracking, system updates, and approvals
to ensure all deals are captured by deadlines and are
SOX‑compliant
with proper audit trails.
Partner with Revenue Accounting to align on
ASC 606
considerations and ensure accurate accruals and recognitions.
Forecasting & Performance Management
Support
BU forecasting
(Revenues/ASP/Gross Margin) by customer, product line, and region; articulate drivers and risks/opportunities.
Deliver monthly/quarterly
variance analyses , executive readouts, and insights on pricing’s contribution to revenue and margin performance.
Data, Systems & Reporting
Utilize
TM1, Tableau, Oracle, and Excel
to build, automate, and maintain
dashboards and standardized reports
for pricing KPIs (e.g., ASP trends, price realization, incentive economics, win/loss).
Ensure
data quality
and consistent definitions in pricing and incentive datasets across finance and business teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
Build strong partnerships with
Product Management, Business Development, Sales Ops, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Program Management
to drive aligned decisions.
Establish operating cadences (e.g., deal desk reviews, monthly pricing reviews) and
mentor junior team members ; lead cross‑functional project teams (with or without direct reports).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
6+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
9+ years of Finance/Accounting or related work experience, with direct experience in pricing, incentives/rebates, or commercial finance (semiconductor, hardware, or IoT preferred).
2+ years in roles with executive‑level interaction (VP and above) delivering succinct insights and recommendations.
2+ years in a large matrixed organization; ability to navigate and influence across functions.
2+ years in a leadership role (with or without direct reports), leading cross‑functional initiatives or deal governance.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Oracle/ERP, and Cognos TM1 (or similar EPM).
Familiarity with pricing tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Model N, PROS, Vendavo) and understanding of ASC 606 implications for incentives and pricing.
Highly analytical, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities and strict deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication, executive presence, and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
2+ years AI Datacenter industry experience.
Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits $122,400.00 - $183,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
