The Role The Sr. Manager/Manager of Business Operations will play a critical role in supporting the Datacenter Business Unit (BU). This position will drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and business process improvements to enable growth and efficiency across the AI Datacenter business. The role requires strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams and leadership to ensure alignment with BU objectives and execution of key initiatives.
The Person We are seeking a proactive, results‑driven leader with exceptional organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrates strong problem‑solving capabilities, and can effectively communicate complex operational strategies to senior stakeholders. This individual will be instrumental in building scalable processes and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business operations for the Datacenter BU, including planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Responsible for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) for AI rack deployments: convert demand forecasts into supply/build plans; own risk scenarios and executive readouts
Drive dock‑to‑activation cycle‑time reductions and integration yield improvements across sites/vendors.
Manage post‑sale support operations: warranty/RMA workflows, spares strategies, Service level Agreement (SLA) adherence, and service cost control.
Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for capacity, cost, and service KPIs; automate data pipelines and variance analytics
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Sales and Product Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of BU priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.
OR
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 9+ years of business operations or related experience.
Preferred Experience
Proven experience in business operations, program management, or strategic planning within a technology or semiconductor environment.
Experience in demand planning, build plan, and supply management
Background in warranty, support, and service operations for AI racks, including rack‑scale deployments and supply management.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
Familiarity with financial processes and operational metrics.
Experience working in large, matrixed organizations.
Experience incorporating AI in work product to enhance analysis, reporting, and decision‑making.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA/Master’s preferred).
8+ years of relevant experience in business operations or program management.
2+ years of experience interacting with executive leadership.
2+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Semiconductor or high‑tech industry experience strongly preferred.
Location This is an onsite, San Diego, CA‑based position and is expected to adhere to the company’s onsite work policy.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
