Facilities Planning Manager
Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a Facilities Planning Manager to join our team in Bethesda, MD in support of the NIH.
Responsibilities
Planning, design review and execution of assigned projects.
Maintain close watch on the progress and status of assigned projects; take appropriate action to ensure that progress and schedules of projects are not hampered.
Monitor schedule and cost of projects for excessive cost overruns or claims.
Establish reporting system to ensure that timely notification is provided to the government representative of any deviation from original budget or schedule.
Plan and develop requirements, specifications, procedures and directives necessary for carrying out projects.
Provide presence at project meetings; lay out an organized and well-developed approach to management of projects.
Provide positive and productive coordination to achieve target outcomes.
Perform on-site walks and inspections to monitor project execution.
Coordinate designs and studies, including responses by design firms to permit review comments and review of plans to confirm that the user objectives are being maintained.
Provide support to Senior Project Officer who is a Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) on the development of scopes of work, independent government estimates, and technical evaluations of proposals.
Travel Requirements 0 - 10%
Job Requirements
Minimum three (3) years of experience in related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Five (5) years of specialized experience would be equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
The total hourly pay for this exempt position is $42.23 for up to 40 hours per week. This rate represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
