About the role
As a MuleSoft Integration Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing API-led connectivity solutions that enable seamless integration across enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of our Technology & Engineering team, collaborating closely with architects, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead the design and implementation of API-led connectivity using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Define reusable integration patterns and API specifications (RAML/OpenAPI).
Build and manage APIs and microservices using MuleSoft (Mule 4.x, DataWeave).
Integrate cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Salesforce, SAP) and third‑party systems.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Columbus, IN. What you need to have to be considered
Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including integration development and API‑led connectivity.
Hands‑on experience with MuleSoft administration, performance tuning, and security best practices.
Proven ability to design and architect scalable integration solutions using modern design patterns.
Deep understanding of integration needs within industrial manufacturing or similar enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
This will help you stand out
Relevant MuleSoft certifications (Integration Architect, Platform Architect).
Experience with API governance, lifecycle management, and analytics.
Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS).
Leadership capabilities, including team management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $83,000 - $129,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
