Overview This position is responsible for overall Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Management System. Providing leadership, coordination, management continual improvement, and corrective actions of the quality processes and functions. The Vice President of Quality leads & supervises the team that provides support functions and administrative support to all areas of the company.
Location and Travel Details:
This is a remote position, which can be based anywhere in the U.S. with up to 50% travel. This position supports our projects across the United States. Assist in formulating the CE&I segment’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives Participate in the implementation of strategic business plans Assist in the creation and actively participate in Leadership Training Manage capital requests and group’s budget Develop performance metrics and measurables that support the company's strategic direction Promote culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team Oversee the operations of the Quality Management System at the corporate and field level Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced Implement operational best practices, corrective actions, system improvements, etc Provide reporting as deemed by your supervisor Promote and communicate the Company Quality Plan, objectives and all associated policies andprocesses Manage a staff of employees and third-party resources Develop, implement and manage a continuous improvement and lean training at all levels across the organization Serve as lead instructor of quality, lean and continuous improvement training Facilitate and mentor root cause analysis, countermeasure development and process improvement teams Manage execution of the CE& I Corporate Quality Plan Mentor team members and company team members Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in quality, construction or related major MBA, MS or other advanced degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management systems in progressing roles of management responsibility PMI Project Management Professional certification preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
