Commercial Director / Managing Director
Main responsibilities
This role will contribute to the next phase of growth of the Italian subsidiary and is part of a structured succession plan, offering clear medium-term opportunities for vertical growth within the Italian organization. Reporting to the President and CEO and working in close partnership with him and HQs, the role contributes to defining the strategic direction over a 3–5 year horizon and leads the execution of the commercial and operational strategy. The position drives sustainable growth, profitability, and market positioning while promoting a strong leadership culture focused on accountability, transparency, and people development across a multifunctional organization. Candidate profile
Proven experience in senior leadership roles (Commercial Director, Country Manager or Managing Director) within mobility-related industries (automotive, truck and commercial vehicles, tier 1 automotive supplier, aftermarket, or B2B services). Proven track record in driving growth, market expansion, and organizational development. Strong strategic and commercial acumen within international organizations. Recognized leadership style combining performance orientation with talent development. Strategic, analytical, and data-driven decision-making approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Extensive experience in collaborating with and mediating between international headquarters and local organizations.
