Role Overview
As a
Technical Accounting Director , you will provide expertise on complex accounting issues, ensure compliance with GAAP, and guide the organization through technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Lead technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex transactions.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Oversee implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
Partner with finance leadership on strategic accounting decisions.
Prepare and review technical memos and documentation for auditors.
Support M&A activities with purchase accounting and integration guidance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
Extensive experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842, and other relevant standards.
Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
