About the Broad Summer Research Program The

Broad Summer Research Program (BSRP)

is an intensive

nine-week summer research opportunity

designed for undergraduates committed to biomedical research and interested in genomics.

Key Highlights:

Students engage in

original computational or experimental-based research

in labs across Broad's research areas, including:

Cancer

Infectious diseases

Computational biology

At the program's conclusion, students deliver

oral and poster presentations

on their research projects.

BSRP has a strong record of helping students succeed in graduate school and scientific careers.

$5,400 stipend

βœ… Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for the BSRP, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Interest in Graduate School : Strong interest in pursuing a

Ph.D.

or

M.D.-Ph.D.

Enrollment : Must be currently enrolled in a

four-year U.S. college

for

Fall 2025 .

Graduation Timeline : Must have a graduation date of

December 2026 or later .

Accepted Majors :

Physical, biological, or computer sciences

Engineering

Mathematics

Academic Performance : Minimum

3.2 GPA

(on a 4.0 scale)

Citizenship/Residency : Must be a

U.S. citizen ,

permanent resident , or

non-U.S. citizen with employment authorization .

Research Experience : No previous research experience is required.

Students with

limited exposure to STEM

are especially encouraged to apply.
