The

WHOI Summer Student Fellowship program

is a

summer research fellowship

for undergraduates entering their final year of study. The program offers students the chance to gain practical experience in the fields of: Ocean sciences Oceanographic engineering Marine policy Benefits of WHOI Summer Student Fellowship

Participants in the WHOI Summer Student Fellowship will receive the following benefits: Weekly stipend:

$721 Travel allowance:

$720 Housing provided

by the institution Participation in seminars, lecture series, and workshops (e.g., Ethics in Science) Networking opportunities within the Woods Hole scientific community To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria: Must be

undergraduates

(not yet graduated) International students

are welcome (visa support required) Preference is given to

science/engineering majors

with an interest in ocean sciences Applicants from

underrepresented groups

in ocean sciences are encouraged to apply Special rules apply for UK
