The Position Reporting to the Qualcomm’s Wearables and Security Solutions (WSS) Business Unit Senior Vice President and General Manager, this Senior Director of Product Management will define technology IP roadmaps for Voice & Music, Wearables, Security, and Personal AI (an expanding category that includes watches, pendants, pins, and varying smart glass categories); lead the emerging business of Wearable AI‑agentic devices, including new software product requirements, customer acquisitions through strategic sales & business development collaboration, and next‑generation product definitions for this space; define multi‑device architecture for sharing key resources and capabilities between devices; and work with the WSS SVP & GM to define and own broader go‑to‑market strategies for solutions spanning a variety of segments, focusing on power consumption, enhanced machine learning processing capabilities, and other critical product success factors.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a product roadmap in support of the vision and strategic plan.

Establish key business and technical goals to drive success of the group.

Manage a cross‑functional team to carry out and support these plans.

Identify and work closely with top customers and their executives to establish Qualcomm as an innovative leader in the industry.

Work with the WSS SVP & GM to manage long‑term strategic plans.

Evaluate opportunities to expand the business via strategic ecosystem partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions.

Work closely with internal executives and key stakeholders to gain support and execute long‑term plans.

Actively support diversity in teams and across the Company.

Preferred Requirements

MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field of study.

Five (5) years of experience in the AI/Machine Learning technology sector.

Twenty (20) years of experience in Mobile, Voice, Music, Wearable, or IoT market segments within or related to the semiconductor industry.

Where you will be working San Diego, California, USA is the primary location. For the right candidate, work from Santa Clara, California, USA can also be considered. Frequent travel and interaction across teams worldwide is required.

Relocation If needed, full relocation support to San Diego, CA will be provided.

Compensation Pay range: $227,700.00 – $341,500.00. Salary is one component of total compensation. Qualcomm offers a competitive annual discretionary bonus program, potential annual RSU grants, and a benefits package to support success at work, home, and play.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
