Ensures appropriate drug therapy in specialty population, implementing and monitoring clinical protocols and guidelines and enhancing the delivery of evidence-based medicine will also be expected. Other responsibilities include education, representation on medical center committees, and collaboration on research initiatives. Documents clinical activities and outcomes. Provides prescribed medications and compounds according to professional standards and practices. Performs at an advanced skills level.**Education**PharmD degree required**Experience**2-3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is requiredPharmacy Practice Residency or PGY1 preferredSpecialty Residency in field of expertise PGY2 OR Minimum experience of 3-5 years in a relevant clinical pharmacy setting (Other combinations of formal education, training, and experience may be considered.)Experience with computerized pharmacy systems preferred**Certification & Licensure**Virginia licensed or eligible for reciprocity is requiredBoard certification or equivalent specialty certification within 2 yearsCurrent and up-to-date licensure and certification.
