Compensation:

$60,000 - $85,000 per year You’ll lead planting and horticultural installation on Brook Landscape projects, working from layout through installation. The role includes hands‑on planting, irrigation and lighting support, and overseeing materials, vehicles, and tools so crews are ready to work each day. You’ll document site conditions and progress, raise issues and adjustments to the Director of Horticulture, and guide the team through daily sequencing and transitions between tasks. You’ll also supervise and train junior staff in planting methods, organization, and safe shop and field practices, setting clear expectations for quality and professionalism on site. Responsibilities/Duties

Lead the installation of plants, trees, and shrubs in alignment with approved layouts and planting plans Support the installation of irrigation and landscape lighting systems Direct and assist with loading, transporting and unloading plants, materials, and tools for job sites; this role requires lifting and carrying up to

50 lbs

and working outdoors in varied conditions Maintain organized field documentation, including site notes, plant lists, sketches and as‑installed updates Oversee materials, tools, vehicles and daily site readiness, including restocking supplies, resolving shortages and maintaining inventory organization Coordinate vehicle assignments and transportation of crews, tools and materials between job sites Maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, shop and nursery areas, and oversee basic vehicle readiness checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights), reporting service needs promptly Communicate field updates, issues and client concerns to the Director of Horticulture Supervise, train and support junior staff in planting techniques, organization and safe tool use Support daily and weekly field planning through call‑time review and Trello updates You’ll thrive here if you:

Qualifications/Requirements

2 or more years of experience in landscape or horticultural installation, including leading or overseeing planting work on active job sites Strong working knowledge of planting practices, soil preparation and plant handling, with the ability to interpret planting plans and layouts Comfort working outdoors in all weather and performing physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying up to

50 lbs Experience maintaining clear field documentation, including site notes, plant lists and basic layout sketches Ability to organize materials, tools and vehicles to support daily crew operations Experience coordinating transportation of crews, tools and materials between job sites Comfort using digital tools for field communication and documentation (such as Trello or similar systems) Valid driver’s license and a good driving record Clear, professional communication style and confidence directing junior team members on site Willingness to take responsibility for daily organization, quality and team readiness
