Compensation:
$45,000 - $60,000 per year
As an Installer on our Horticulture Team, you’ll help bring design intent into the ground through planting, irrigation, and lighting work that’s careful, coordinated, and well-prepared. You’ll work alongside experienced installers, building strong field habits while learning how high-quality landscapes come together from site prep through final cleanup.
Responsibilities/Duties
As an Installer on our Horticulture Team, you’ll help bring design intent into the ground through planting, irrigation, and lighting work that’s careful, coordinated, and well-prepared. You’ll work alongside experienced installers, building strong field habits while learning how high-quality landscapes come together from site prep through final cleanup.
Show up prepared and attentive, review daily call times, participate in morning setup, and learn from experienced installers how work, materials, and site flow are organized
Install plants, trees, and shrubs according to plans and direction
Assist with irrigation and landscape lighting installation
Prepare and maintain job sites, including soil prep, digging, backfilling, mulching, and watering-in
Load and unload plants, tools, and materials; stage plants on site
Support daily setup, task transitions, and end-of-day cleanup
Follow Lead direction to keep projects moving efficiently and safely
Care for plants during installation to support healthy establishment
Communicate clearly with team members about materials, needs, or workflow changes
Help document site progress through photos or notes when asked
Maintain professional conduct on job sites and direct client questions to the Lead
Assist with shop, yard, nursery, and vehicle organization under supervision
Follow all safety practices, including PPE, tool use, and equipment handling

Qualifications/Requirements
One or more years of landscape or horticulture installation experience
Familiarity with planting practices; exposure to irrigation or lighting a plus
Ability to lift
50+
lbs and work outdoors in varied weather
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and readiness for early starts
Careful attention to detail and respect for job site standards
Comfort taking direction and working as part of a crew
Curiosity and interest in learning the full installation process
