Overview
Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior SME Project Manager to assist the IT development team in understanding the business processes, workflows, and information requirements of the business users.
Responsibilities
Serve in the support of existing applications and configuration of new functionality on an enterprise-wide platform.
Effectively plan projects as well as communicate with stakeholders to define requirements and resolve issues.
Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, or related field highly preferred
U.S. Ctizenship is required per contract.
Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques (e.g., use cases, user stories, process flows)
Experience with business process
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams
Familiarity with SQL for data querying and basic database concepts
Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements
Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies
Proficiency in collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git or SharePoint) for documentation management
Experience with stakeholder management tools and techniques
Salary:
$169,181 - $178,085
