Floater Operator
Wage:
$22.00 - $23.00/hour
Shift:
1st or 2nd
Hours:
6:00am - 3:00pm (Mon-Thu), 6:00am - 12:00pm (Fri) OR 3:00pm - 1:30am (Mon-Thu)
QPS is seeking Floater Operators for a reputable, employee-owned HVAC filter manufacturer located in Juneau, WI. Floater Operator Responsibilities:
Cross-train LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 job-positions throughout the plant
Read and understand production reports and schedules in the various production departments
Help keep machines clean and work areas clean and organized
Help train new hires for permanent positions
Participate in plant Lean projects
Comply with safety policies including wearing the required PPE and lock-out, tag-out procedures
Requirements for Floater Operator:
Able to read and write in English for production reports and work orders
Good basic math skills
Able to read a tape measure to 1/16"
Able to read, write, and understand fractions to 1/16"
Able to lift up to 50lbs
