**The Program Coordinator II** works collaboratively with the Routh First-Generation staff to plan, develop, and implement programs and is responsible for promoting and reporting on first-generation student success initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting first-generation students and brings proven experience in career, leadership, and professional development programming. This job also includes working collaboratively with each college or academic success team and student support services to provide academic and additional support to undergraduate students. If you thrive in a collaborative, evolving, and fast-paced environment and are committed to making a difference in students’ lives, we encourage you to apply.* Ability to push or move a 2-wheel dolly and pull or move a wagon or cart.* Ability to work on campus in a location other than their office.* Some evening & weekend work, and travel.* Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.* Four years of experience in student success, student development, or related work in higher education.* Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, Educational Technology, Adult Education, or related field.* Experience in developing or coordinating student retention programs.* Intermediate experience with data analysis in a higher education capacity.* Demonstrated experience with EAB Navigate or related student predictive analytics system.* Ability to understand and speak Spanish.* Strong problem-solving skills.* High degree of self-initiative and ability to think and work independently.* Ability to analyze data for retention and graduation success programming.* Knowledge of degree plans, programs, and/or evaluations.* Experience with educational technology platforms and tools such as Articulate 360/Rise, Adobe, Canva, and Google Suite.* Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications; Google Suite.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.* Proficiency with COMPASS/Banner and HOWDY.* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.* Verbal and written communication skills.We are a prestigious university with strong traditions, Core Values, and a community of caring and collaboration.
