Material Handler (2nd Shift)

in our Beaver Dam, WI manufacturing plant. Essential Functions

Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to the required line or pre‑batch area. Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain proper sanitation and housekeeping in the area. Properly put away any warehouse picks. Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department. Inform the appropriate departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand‑up forklift. The ability to read and understand line schedules and material needs. Positive attendance record. Safe operation of a stand‑up fork truck. Desired Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Competencies

Technical capacity. Ability to work cooperatively and maintain a professional working relationship with employees. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Good organizational skills. Flexibility. Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

Production staff’s base schedule is Monday – Saturday rotating schedule of five to six days at 10‑hour shifts. Universal Pay Verbiage

Compensation depends on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $18.32 per hour. The role is also eligible for overtime compensation.
