Description:
School District 103 is seeking to fill 4th grade leave of absence teaching position. Leave will begin on approximately 04/13/2026 through 06/012/2026 (or last day of student attendance).
Additional transition days will be required and arranged between the candidate, teacher and building principal.
Job Summary:
Provide self-contained classroom instruction at the 4th grade level.
Minimum Qualifications:
3 + years teaching experience preferred Bachelor's Degree Candidate must hold a valid Illinois PEL License with Elementary endorsement required. Meets state's NCLB's Highly Qualified Teacher requirements Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power Point Familiarity with SmartBoard technology and tablets a plus Strong understanding of balanced literacy approach
Essential Functions:
Experience working with the proposed age group Experience assessing student achievement and differentiating instruction Experience working with English Language Learners Experience working with Google Docs Experience supporting children in the use of technology An ability to learn new technology tools quickly
Qualifications:
Candidate must hold a valid Illinois teaching Professional Educator License (PEL). Elementary Education K-9 endorsement required
