Evening Shift: 11 AM - 7:30 PM; Weekend, call, and holidays required. Job Description
The role of the Certified Surgical Technologist is critical in supporting the surgical team, providing high-quality care through efficient and precise techniques. Candidates will be expected to maintain a sterile environment, ensure that surgical equipment is in excellent working condition, and assist surgeons during procedures. Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment. Assist with patient care and preparation of the surgical patient. Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel. React efficiently to various situations during surgical procedures. Precept new staff as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist. At least one year of travel experience preferred. Ortho experience required. Experience with scrubbing and the Da Vinci system. Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program or current New York State LPN license eligible. BLS certification required. Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection protocols applicable to the operating room. Completion of an approved pharmacology course or relevant medication experience. Why ARMStaffing?
