The Operating Room Technician is an integral member of the surgical team, providing support to surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesiologists. Responsibilities include scrubbing for surgical cases, handling instruments, supplies, medications, and specimens, as well as assuming responsibility for call when fully trained. Responsibilities
Scrub for various surgical cases, ensuring a sterile environment. Assist in handling instruments, supplies, and medications during surgeries. Manage specimens and instrument cases efficiently. Participate as a part of the surgical team and communicate effectively with team members. May float to Labor and Delivery, but this is rare. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required. Experience with orthopedic and vascular cases is necessary. BLS certification is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
