As a Security Officer – Medical Center Patrol – Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities according to site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with emergency personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to those on the premises.
Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
