We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator. This role is essential for the smooth operation of HR at our Waxahachie plant, focusing on administrative support across the employee lifecycle. The HR Coordinator will be the first point of contact for many employee inquiries and will play a critical role in maintaining accurate HR records and supporting core HR functions.

Reports To: Human Resources Leadership

Responsibilities and Duties

Post and manage job requisitions.

Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews, acting as the main point of contact for interview logistics.

Conduct and document the initial phone screen. Collect and store all interview notes virtually.

Manage all new hire onboarding logistics, including preparing welcome kits and coordinating first-day activities.

Employee Lifecycle Administration

Administer input of new hires, terminations, and status changes into the HRIS.

Maintain and audit employee personnel files – keeping all records electronic.

HRIS & Data Accuracy

Maintain the integrity of employee records with proper labeling.

Support HR leadership by pulling reports and tracking key compliance metrics.

Benefits & Payroll Support

Process and track benefits enrollments.

Serve as the initial point of contact for basic employee questions regarding benefits and payroll.

Policy & Compliance

Track employee training completion and required certifications.

Employee Support

Act as the first stop for basic employee questions concerning HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

Escalate complex or sensitive employee relations issues directly to HR leadership.

Safety Program

Update safety training materials quarterly, working closely with HR leadership.

Distribute documents to managers.

Print, collect, and e‑file sign‑in sheets.

Assist with safety training as needed.

Process Coordination

Ensure critical tasks are completed on time through follow‑ups and reminders, ensuring no process falls through the cracks.

Qualifications Required

Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR procedures.

Preferred But Not Required

Bi‑lingual (English and Spanish)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions Office physical demands are generally sedentary (sitting/typing) but include repetitive motions (hands/wrists/fingers), fine vision (screens/reading), and light lifting/carrying (up to 20 pounds), while working conditions involve factors like lighting, noise, temperature, and ergonomics.
