The Role

The Container Flow Process Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Tier 1 and GM Assembly/Propulsion Plants daily operations. Responsible for ensuring processes and systems are in place to track containers back to the Tier 1 so they have the containers required to ship parts to the GM Plants. This requires working with GM Logistics, Ryder, Penske, ODC Network, Container Flow Team, and Tier 1’s.Also, responsible for designing and developing system enhancements through direct interface with internal and external IT groups. What You’ll Do

Establish processes within Ryder / Penske related to track n trace trailers Lead with GM IT on system enhancements/UAT Testing TEC Business case development & solutions required to enhance process/systems Develop KPI’s to measure container return network performance Develop Cognos reports related to CLIPS System Admin support for CSP, CLIPS, Condor and MGOCTS Generate IT tickets when systems are not functioning correctly Follow-up with plants regarding yearly CSA Audits Update Supply Power containerization documents and libraries Liaison between GM Command Center / Tactical Ops and Container Team Container System Size Verification related to container shortages Root Cause high smart number/claims related to container Propulsion Allocation Change Lead Container Support for End of Production to ensure containers are accounted for OPEX’s as required Support Logistics changes (NAC20) GPS Tracker Projects Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, manufacturing, logistics or product development Organized and self-motivated Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions, which are timely, and in the best interests of the broader organization. High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult Quick decision maker when all details are not available Results driven individual with high levels of initiative, urgency and pro-activity Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple sectors e.g. GM plants, logistics, and suppliers. Excellent oral and written communication skills High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing processes and material flow Proficient in MS Office -Word, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Java script Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing processes and material flow What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related advanced degree a plus Materials systems and common corporate tools knowledge, including: EDGE, MGO, MPS, GPS, APM, SAP, GDiMPS, Smartsearch (Part finder), LMS, Viatpro, Freight Verify, Cognos, etc. Knowledge of Manufacturing, Equipment & Processes within Stamping, Body Shop, General Assembly, and Propulsion. Strong supply chain, logistics and packaging knowledge A strong focus on metrics, data and results. Demonstrated technical depth in logistics, supply chain and manufacturing engineering. Strong problem-solving skills – the ability to analyze and diagnose systemic issues
