Journeyman Lineman Foreman – IES Electrical
IES Commercial, Inc. (doing business as IES Electrical), a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc., is seeking a full‑time Journeyman Lineman Foreman to work in the Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas areas.
$5,000 HIRE BONUS
and Per Diem Eligibility apply.
Job Summary
Construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electric transmission and distribution lines.
Work with, mentor, and provide Helper/Apprentice training in safety and on‑the‑job skills.
Train in electrical distribution and transmission line construction, including single phase transformers, three‑phase transformer banks, voltage testing, rotation, regulators, line switching, clearance procedures, and grounding.
Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Travel required.
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman program or documented proof of Journeyman Lineman experience.
5 years recent experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction.
Supervisory experience.
Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain one.
Ability to read construction documents.
Successfully pass DOT physicals/drug tests as required.
Successfully pass pre‑employment (post‑offer) drug test, background check, and MVR check.
