Job Summary Join a traveling commercial roofing team specializing in the removal of metal roofing systems on commercial buildings. This role is hands‑on, physically demanding, and ideal for individuals with roofing or construction experience who are comfortable working at heights and operating hand/power tools.
Key Responsibilities
Remove old roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Clean and dispose of roofing debris to maintain a safe jobsite
Prepare roof decking—cleaning, leveling, and ensuring a clear surface
Follow all safety standards, including fall protection requirements
Assist experienced roofers with material handling, equipment setup, and general labor
Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and clients
Ideal Candidate Has
Previous experience in roofing or construction
Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
Proficient with basic hand and power tools (hammers, rakes, cutters, etc.)
Knowledge of roofing safety practices and fall protection
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Able to work efficiently and stay task‑focused
Work Environment
Outdoor commercial job sites
Physically demanding tasks
Frequent work at elevated heights
Team‑oriented environment with a strong focus on safety

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
