Talentline Services is working with a client in the Rochester, NY area to help fill multiple direct-hire Journeyman Pipefitter positions for a manufacturing facility.
This is a full-time role with a steady Monday–Friday schedule and overtime when the work demands it. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that support industrial and manufacturing operations.
An
active Journeyman Pipefitter card or equivalent experience is required .
What You’ll Be Doing
Install, modify, and repair piping systems including
steel, stainless, copper, and plastic
Perform pipe layout, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and fitting
Read and work from
isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and job specs
Fit and install valves, pumps, supports, and related piping components
Perform welding as required ( TIG, MIG, Stick
– depending on material)
Pressure test systems and troubleshoot leaks or system issues
Work safely around steam, air, water, hydraulic, and process piping systems
Coordinate with millwrights, electricians, engineers, and maintenance teams
Follow all safety rules, attend toolbox talks, and report unsafe conditions immediately
Help train and mentor less-experienced pipefitters when needed
What We’re Looking For
Active Journeyman Pipefitter card or strong equivalent experience
Experience in
industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, and materials
Ability to read prints, P&IDs, and follow detailed instructions
Physically able to:
Work at heights and in confined spaces
Work in hot and cold environments
Lift up to
50 lbs
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Basic computer skills and good communication
Willing to work overtime and occasional travel as required
