Talentline Services is working with a client in the Rochester, NY area to help fill multiple direct-hire Journeyman Welder positions for an industrial manufacturing facility. This is a full-time role with a steady Monday–Friday schedule and overtime when needed. You’ll be working hands-on with welding and fabrication projects on production equipment, machinery, and structural components.
An
active Journeyman Welder certification or equivalent experience is required .
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform welding on
steel, stainless, and aluminum
using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-core processes
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components according to prints, schematics, and job specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Perform fit-up, layout, and preparation work for welding projects
Inspect welds for quality and compliance with standards
Collaborate with millwrights, pipefitters, engineers, and maintenance teams on equipment installs and repairs
Follow all safety rules, attend toolbox talks, and report unsafe conditions immediately
Mentor less-experienced welders as needed
What We’re Looking For
Journeyman Welder certification or equivalent experience
Experience in
industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong welding and metal fabrication skills
Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
Physically able to:
Work at heights and in confined spaces
Work in hot and cold environments
Lift up to
50 lbs
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Basic computer skills and solid communication
Willing to work overtime and occasional travel as required
