Our Lady Star of the Sea School is seeking a substitute teacher. OLSOS is a faith-based community dedicated to bringing Jesus into our students’ lives through exceptional academics and rich faith experiences. We are looking for an innovative, energetic, faith-filled individual who is passionate about engaging students.
Responsibilities
Implement lesson plans provided by the teacher
Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Provide instruction and support to students as needed
Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all students
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit
Previous experience working with students preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a variety of classroom settings and grade levels
Complete the Protecting God’s Children training
