Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual with Cashier experience. Cashier position offers an opportunity to be in a Lead position and a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Cashier and retail experience preferred
Ability to multi-task
Detail oriented
Clear and concise communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, and weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and welcome customers
Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit cards, debit cards, and checks)
Scan and bag items for customers
Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
Handling phone calls
Wage: $16.00 per hour, based on experience Employee discount Flexible Schedule
