Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School is accepting applications for a dynamic teacher aide to work alongside elementary school students in Madison, WI.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Commitment to Catholic Identity and forming students in their love of Jesus Christ.
Commitment to continued development of his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Commitment to teaching the whole child (academics, social emotional learning, and spiritual formation)
Ability to embed differentiation in daily instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of students.
Commitment to collaboration and reflection within a school community dedicated to continuous improvement.
Ability to adjust instruction based on formative assessment data.
Ability to communicate effectively to form partnerships with families.
Ability to reflect on practice.
Valid Wisconsin teaching certificate in the subject area of employment – preferred.
A background in working with Elementary‑aged students is preferred; teacher creativity is valued. The successful candidate will be team‑oriented, flexible, and possess a growth mindset in pursuit of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
Applicants who are practicing the Catholic faith will be given preference.
