We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support our electrical assembly, testing, and repair operations in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role works across production and repair & return (R&R) activities and offers the opportunity to grow from foundational assembly tasks into advanced component-level diagnostics and repair.
This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, AL.
What You'll Do
Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies Perform IPC-compliant soldering and rework on PCBs and wiring harnesses Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment Interpret schematics, work instructions, and engineering documentation Document repairs and test results in ERP/MES systems Support quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts Work in an ESD-controlled environment following strict safety and quality standards Maintain clean, organized work areas consistent with 5S and lean practices Escalate issues to senior technicians or supervisors when encountering unfamiliar defects or failures What We're Looking For
0-4 years of electronics assembly or repair experience Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to read schematics and follow controlled processes Basic soldering proficiency; IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred Basic understanding of ESD controls and safe handling practices Active SECRET security clearance Ability to lift 25-40 lbs. as required Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
