Accounts Payable Administrator (Construction)

Vancouver, WA (Onsite) Pay:
$29 – $32 per hour, DOE Schedule:
Monday – Friday | Full-Time Our client is a well-established, locally respected construction company known for quality work and operational excellence. They value accuracy, accountability, and teamwork and are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to support their growing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, managing multiple priorities, and working closely with office staff to keep projects financially organized and on track. What You’ll Do
High-volume data entry of invoices, reimbursements, and payment batches Managing vendor accounts, W-9s, credit applications, and balancing vendor statements Entering subcontracts, change orders, direct costs, and job cost transfers Maintaining accurate GL and job cost data Processing weekly AP runs, month-end reporting, and year-end 1099s Assisting with payroll entries and job cost labor adjustments Supporting project setup and uploads within construction software Communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal office staff as needed What You Need to Have
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word 10-key by touch Clear, professional communication skills Strong attendance and ability to work independently while supporting a team Familiarity with Viewpoint or similar construction accounting software The Musts
Experience working in a fast-paced office environment Comfortable working closely with office staff and handling multiple priorities Self-sufficient, dependable, and detail-driven Preferred
Construction or job-cost accounting experience Understanding of job costing and project-based accounting What’s In It for You
