Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor the Contract team, providing guidance and professional development.
Lead contract negotiations and amendments with MCOs, Medicare Replacements, and commercial payers.
Oversee contract renewals, Medicaid/Medicare enrollment processes, and licensing requirements.
Monitor regulatory changes and payer olicy updates to ensure compliance.
Manage centralized databases and electronic repositories of contract documents and rate agreements.
Support Single Case Agreements (SCAs) and resolve complex contractual disputes.
Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or related field required (Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience may be considered).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare contract management, insurance negotiations, or revenue cycle operations required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and third-party document systems (e.g., DocuSign) required.
Strong understanding of financial analysis and ability to derive actionable insights from data required.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts with complex language and addenda.
High attention to detail and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
