Rooms Leader in Development Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Rooms Leader in Development for the Barton Creek Resort & Spa. This program is a one‑year Management Training Program designed for entry‑level candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, focused on developing leadership across Housekeeping and Rooms Division operations.

Job Description This role is ideal for individuals who want to build a career in hospitality, creating outstanding customer experiences while gaining experience across multiple hotel departments. As the leader in the Development program, you will support training initiatives for front‑office, guest services, reservations and housekeeping, ensuring a seamless learning experience for trainees.

Responsibilities

Perform job functions of various front‑office, guest‑services, reservations and housekeeping positions; complete LID learning contracts and assigned management functions.

Schedule contract appointments and submit monthly LID progress reports.

Familiarize with housekeeping systems, equipment, day reports and PDQ standards.

Execute room inspections according to hotel standards.

Understand rate plans and rate codes, including strategy for rate changes.

Assist with initial and ongoing training of front‑office associates, conduct MOS audits and provide coaching.

Cover shifts when staff call‑offs occur.

Represent the Omni Brand and culture; reinforce training on Power of One and Power of Engagement principles.

Engage guests and associates, demonstrating Power of One behaviors.

Support a positive work environment focused on employee growth, teamwork and customer service excellence.

Monitor guest requests and concerns, following the service recovery process.

Master front‑desk procedures: check‑in/check‑out, cash handling, parking validation, folio adjustments, payment procedures, room blocking, AM/PM checklists, etc.

Maintain Four‑Diamond standards of guest service.

Qualifications

Willingness to work 47.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Open to relocation upon completion of the program for promotion to a permanent management role.

Previous hotel or related field experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills; customer service oriented with a sincere, helpful, caring and friendly personality.

Professional enthusiasm and positive attitude at all times.

Attention to detail, order and cleanliness.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional phone manner.

Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment within a dynamic work schedule.

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Hospitality Management.
