Summary of Position The Logistics Center Selector is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently picking and assembling products to fulfill customer orders based on demand. The role also handles Value Added Services requested by customers, unloading and assembling product from inbound containers to pallets.

Responsibilities

Pick, sort, and segregate material from inbound containers and warehouse racks.

Perform basic Value‑Added Service tasks for customer orders.

Maintain safety expectations in the Logistics Center.

Maintain the condition of the center per Supply Chain Excellence Audit standards.

Navigate culture and values, promoting communication and teamwork.

Safely operate a motorized pallet jack (pre‑shift inspections, lockout/tagout, safety rules).

Use a warehouse management picking program and radio frequency device.

Assemble orders, including slip sheets, labeling, special configurations, UCC‑128 labels, and packing lists.

Follow proper picking procedures (scanning, stacking, minimizing damage, precise counting).

Adhere to radio frequency scanner and productivity procedures.

Maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity standards.

Hand stack and unload product from containers/trailers onto pallets.

Maintain cleaning standards (remove bands, cardboard, excess film, etc.).

Perform additional tasks as directed by Team Lead or Supervisor.

Cycle count locations as directed.

Log into proper LM codes.

Essential Duties & Qualifications

Use and read work order selection and product movement computer programs.

Operate a motorized pallet jack.

Demonstrate safe operation of powered industrial equipment.

Effective math and counting skills.

Professional attitude toward work and coworkers.

Dependable and punctual.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Seniority Level Entry level
