Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems throughout the casino
Install, repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with building systems and equipment and perform necessary repairs
Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and systems to ensure proper operation
Work with Facilities Manger to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of all tasks
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and preform repairs as needed
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
Troubleshoot and repair casino and property equipment
Maintain logs on equipment
Proficiency in all phases of operation of fire panels
Assist with aquarium operation
Recommend needed parts for purchase and order parts and services if needed
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
Purchases supplies necessary to perform repairs and maintenance that are requested
Performs minor repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machines
Provides preventative maintenance for heating and air-conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration equipment including scheduling cleaning of equipment, filter replacement, and belt replacement
Checks for proper motor operation, bearings, amp draw, RPMs, and vibration
Checks blower wheels bearings, pulleys, belts, and vibration
Inspects and repairs air scrubbers
Performs preventive maintenance on smoke eaters, including belts, blowers, motors, cleaning, or replacement of charcoal media
Certified to purchase and use Freon
Checks Freon levels on equipment, adds as needed
Performs preventive maintenance on ice makers and bins, cleans as required
Drives company vehicle, pulls trailers as needed, loads and unloads equipment on trailers
Performs minor electrical trouble shooting and repairs
May operate computers which control and monitor mechanical equipment and utility systems
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to restore operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals
Ability to operate scissor lift
Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently or with a team to complete required tasks
Must be proficient and versatile in three or more building trades: electrical, painting/sheetrock, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and general mechanics
Intermediate English reading and writing abilities
Ability to work safely with power tools
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Some computer operation is necessary
Some technical or commercial training necessary
3-5 years minimum work experience
Troubleshoot, adjust and repair selected equipment
Must possess a valid Colorado Gaming License
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver license
Identification that establishes identity
Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
