Job Summary The Saw Operator retrieves, inspects, and cuts products to customer supplied specifications.
Job Responsibilities
Operates saw
Inspects and cuts parts for shipment per Operator instructions
Maintains records of productions and quality issues as specified
Notifies supervisor of non-confirming product or problems with machine
Communicates saw issues with the next saw operator
Patches parts/scrap as needed
Keeps saw & yard area clean and neat
Occasional use of cleaning chemicals and power tools
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Ability to read and comprehend drawings & quantities
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Ability to perform these operations using metric units
Ability to deal with problems involving repairs, patching & overall working of the saw
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
