The Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory (Charlotte, NC) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Facilities & Maintenance team. This position entails working with a variety of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems situated within multiple buildings and across the 350-plus-acre property.

Responsibilities
Assist with installation and repair of new and existing irrigation systems.
Replace light bulbs, switches, and basic electrical parts.
Perform light plumbing and HVAC maintenance.
Assist with fencing, gates, and small equipment repairs.
Support general upkeep and other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to spend long hours working independently in a wide range of weather and temperature extremes, including some office work.
Capable of working independently.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and work in strenuous conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to effectively interact with guests and co-workers, along with peer professionals.
Ability to learn and capable of asking questions without hesitation.
