Materials Specialist – LNG Project

We are seeking an experienced

Materials Specialist

to support an LNG Maintenance Build program for a major LNG project based in

Houston / Remotely . Focused on materials data preparation and governance in support of maintenance and warehouse readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

materials data cleansing

to ensure accuracy and consistency

Develop and maintain

Spare Parts Identification Records (SPIRs)

Execute

spare parts and materials cataloguing

activities

Create and manage

Bills of Materials (BoMs)

for maintenance build

Support

material master data governance , and quality control

Interface with

warehouse and maintenance teams

to align materials data with operational needs

Support procurement and materials workflows using SAP and Ariba

Required Experience & Skills

Hands‑on experience with

SAP S/4HANA (MM module)

Experience with

Ariba punch‑out

catalogs and procurement processes

Strong background in

materials cataloguing ,

SPIRs , and

BoM creation

Knowledge of

material master governance

best practices

Experience in

Oil & Gas / LNG MRO environments

Understanding of

warehouse operations

and

maintenance build processes

Preferred Profile

Prior experience supporting

LNG facilities or large‑scale energy projects

Strong attention to detail and data quality

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment

Contract Duration Approximately 12 months Location: Houston, TX (project‑based)
