Part Time Residential DSP 1:1 in Waldorf, MD Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is seeking a Part-Time Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work 1:1 Monday - Friday from 4pm to 9pm in Waldorf, MD. The ideal candidate will provide support and care for residents, assist with daily activities, medication management, and ensure their overall well-being. A valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance is required for this role.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities.
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment for residents.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and staff to provide comprehensive care.
Benefits:
