Part-Time DSP at Residential Program - Leonardtown, MD
Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Residential Program in Leonardtown, MD. The DSP will provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting during the hours of Monday to Friday from 4pm to 9pm. The position offers a pay rate of $21 per hour and requires the candidate to have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and car insurance. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be able to lift at least 50lbs and commit to attending required trainings within the allotted timeframe. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in working with individuals with disabilities is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assist with daily living activities Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving Responsibilities: Support individuals with disabilities in various daily tasks like meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores Implement personalized care plans to ensure residents' well-being Provide emotional support and engage residents in meaningful activities Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents Document and report any changes in residents' conditions promptly
