Business Development Manager (Finance)
Driving growth in molecular diagnostics and precision medicine. At Microbiologics we support the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic testing worldwide. As demand for molecular diagnostics and precision medicine continues to grow, we’re expanding our commercial team and looking for a Business Development Manager Clinical Diagnostics (US) to help accelerate growth across the United States.

At Microbiologics, you will:
Lead complex, long-cycle business development opportunities across US clinical diagnostics markets
Build executive-level relationships with laboratory, biopharma, and life science customers
Translate customer needs into scalable, commercially viable solutions
Partner closely with Clinical Sales and cross-functional teams to move opportunities forward
What Youll Do Strategic Growth & Business Development
Lead US-based business development strategy for molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, and genomics markets
Identify, develop, and close complex opportunities including custom solutions, partnerships, and contract manufacturing
Account & Partnership Leadership
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and partners
Develop account and market-level business plans to support long-term growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Marketing, R&D, Product Management, Operations, and Clinical Sales to deliver customer-aligned solutions
Ensure smooth transition of opportunities from development to active selling
Commercial Governance
Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and reporting in CRM systems
Provide market insights and voice-of-customer feedback to inform strategy
Customer Engagement
Represent Microbiologics with customers and at industry events
Travel up to 50% within the United States

7+ years of progressive experience in business development or strategic sales
Proven success with complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities
Experience working with clinical laboratories or life science organizations
