Position Overview As a growing family office and private foundation, we are seeking a proactive and organized Program Associate to support our Program team in our Flourishing Families portfolio. The Program Associate provides essential administrative, programmatic, and logistical support to the foundation’s grantmaking operations. This role ensures the smooth flow of information, efficient grant processing, and consistent communication with grantees and partners.

The Program Associate must be an exceptional writer and demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to work independently, problem‑solving capabilities, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast‑paced environment, and the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will be mission‑driven and believe in the philanthropic priorities of the foundation, which include flourishing families, individual and economic freedom, pluralism, limited government, and support for Jewish life and the U.S.-Israel alliance.

Flourishing Families The foundation sees a bright future for all American families to flourish. This requires both culture change and policy change that empowers individuals and their communities. The foundation is newly building this grantmaking area. Issues of interest include:

Combating the harms of social media and other digital technologies on children and families.

Strengthening opportunities for boys and men and helping them thrive.

Developing evidence‑based standards for pro‑family policies at all levels of government.

Fostering original research to understand what practices and policies best support family flourishing.

Building novel approaches for supporting family growth and formation.

Empowering and encouraging parenthood strengthening programs and parental rights.

Supporting pluralistic solutions for families, including programs that support gay parents and their families, and respect for religious liberty.

Responsibilities Grants Management

Support the end‑to‑end grantmaking process, including research, proposal review, documentation, and reporting.

Maintain accurate and timely data in the grants management system.

Assist with preparing reports and grant summaries.

Program Support

Conduct background research on potential grantees, issue areas, and community needs.

Help coordinate site visits, learning sessions, and convenings.

Draft correspondence, presentations, and summaries for program initiatives.

Administrative & Collaborative Support

Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and handle logistics for internal and external events.

Process invoices, contracts, and reimbursements related to grants and programs.

Provide general office and communications support as needed.

Qualifications and Attributes

1–3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in philanthropy, nonprofit administration, or public affairs.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, project tracking, and experience with or willingness to learn CRM/grants management software.

Team‑oriented, adaptable, proactive and able to operate within established processes.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Background Checks and Employment Eligibility

Authorized background checks will be required.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation $65,000‑$75,000. This range is a good‑faith estimate, and the final salary offered to a selected candidate depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, and other qualifications.
