The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build relationships withinsurancecompanyclaimsandunderwriting leaders,andprogrammanagers.
This role is basedinour Rutherford, NJ headquarters.
As a Business DevelopmentManager, you will lead initiatives to expand our presence in theTPA and Field Adjustingmarket. You will develop strategic growthplans andcultivate high-value partnerships. Candidates with deep industry knowledge andestablishednetworks in insurance are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute a business development strategyworkingclosely with the Head of Business Development.
Follow up on new client referrals received by the Executive team.
Proactively network, identify, qualify, and close opportunities with insurance carriers,MGAs/Program Administrators, and brokers.
Build andmaintainexecutive-level relationships acrossvariousinsurance organizations.
Lead proposal development and collaborate with internal teams to ensure competitive positioning and profitability.
Work with Head of Business Development to refine processes and KPIs for new business development.
Create activities to enhance engagement with new potential clients.
Represent the firm at industry conferences andattargeted outreach events.
Generatebusiness leadsfrom new and existingclientsthrough proactive business developmentactivities.
Stay updated with insurance industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changesand share updates with leadership.
Provide strategicreports on new business development progress.
Provide recommendationstomanagementfor new clients.
Lead end-to-end transaction process includingopportunityevaluation,due diligence,and negotiation.
Partner withinternal and external stakeholdersto ensureasuccessfulstart to a new client.
Drive measurable growth across territory.
Providea consultativesales approach.
Qualifications
10+ years in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships within insurance.
Proven success in securing new clients and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Experience with Salesforce, CRM systems and pipeline forecasting.
Willingness to travel to events.
Ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies.
Executive presence and cross-functional leadership skills.
