Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking a Change Coordinator for a 12+ month contract opportunity located in Morton Grove, Illinois. This role is fully onsite. The Change Coordinator utilizes change management best practices to ensure proper release and update of engineering data, clear communication to cross functional groups related to change management resolution, and to coordinate the approval and implementation of enterprise changes throughout the organization. The Change Coordinator will provide engineering support, leadership, and technical responsibility for assigned projects. This position interfaces with users of Marketing and Engineering data. Essential Duties / Principal Responsibilities

Coordinate and support technical data changes through the Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process, utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. Work with engineering leadership, consulting engineers, project engineers, marketing, production, quality, purchasing, and vendors to manage product improvement and cost reduction projects for globally sourced products. Apply sound engineering principles to components and systems in order to create and assess designs, bill of materials, including 3D computer modeling, assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Provide programming logic for bill of material generation through a configurator application. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams. Additional Responsibilities

Supports projects and teams related to Engineering Systems applications. Create and revise engineering documentation to reflect current practices and procedures. Manage shifting priorities with multi-tasking skills. Qualifications

Required: Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education & experience. Demonstrate proficiency in tools such as Microsoft suite of tools, Pro-E/CREO, PDMLink, Configured product. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Analytical skills with ability to organize and implement projects to detailed timelines and budgets. Familiarity with current Product Lifecycle Management systems and methods, CAD systems and tools, project management, content management systems, and integration of IT systems. General knowledge of engineering & manufacturing policies and operations, including production control, quality control, electrical product, or industrial engineering. Familiar with common manufacturing processes (casting, 3D models, patterns, machining, & stamping). Technical competency in areas relating to motors, drives, pumping technology, electronic controls, and project management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences. Ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary & virtual teams to achieve goals. English language fluency. Preferred / Additional Preferences

Preferred: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a product, project, or support engineer role with processes for a manufacturer. Experience with valves, pumps, electric motors, and other electro-mechanical products. Production and/or Support Engineering experience preferred. Familiar with fluid applications, pressure-containing vessels, and valves. 3D CAD software expertise (Pro/E, Creo preferred). Familiar with product lifecycle management software (Windchill preferred). Experience working with team members in multiple countries and across several time zones. Working knowledge of MS Project. Experience with residential and commercial building HVAC processes and equipment. Exposure to regulatory/listing agencies such as UL, FM, CSA, and CE mark. Experience with PTC Windchill and Creo Parametric with Creo Simulate. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Pay
