Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in reverse-engineering existing Oracle-based ETL processes and rebuilding scalable, optimized data pipelines within a Snowflake data warehouse. This role will focus on designing targeted data models that support business needs while ensuring performance, data integrity, and reliability across environments. The ideal candidate brings deep SQL expertise, hands‑on Snowflake experience, and a strong understanding of modern data warehousing principles.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and reverse-engineer existing Oracle ETL workflows

Rebuild, optimize, and modernize data pipelines within Snowflake

Design and implement targeted data models in Snowflake to support business reporting and analytics needs

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance across data warehouse environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions

Apply best practices for CI/CD, version control, and code management

Required Skills

Expert-level SQL (DDL and DML)

Moderate-level Python for scripting and automation

Strong understanding of data warehousing fundamentals

Experience with data warehouse modeling concepts (e.g., star schema)

Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including tasks and related features

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and code management best practices

Preferred Skills

Experience migrating ETL processes from Oracle to Snowflake

Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
