We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Art Teacher to join our faculty and inspire creativity across all grade levels. Position Summary: The Art Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing an engaging, age-appropriate visual arts curriculum for students in Pre-K through Grade 12. The successful candidate will foster an appreciation for the arts, encourage creative expression, and integrate Catholic values into the classroom environment. Responsibilities: Teach visual arts to students in Pre-K through Grade 12 Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum aligned with national and state standards Integrate Catholic values into lessons and classroom management Organize student art displays and participate in school events and exhibitions Collaborate with other faculty and administrators to support interdisciplinary learning Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming art room environment Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school functions Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred) Valid New Jersey teaching certification or eligibility Experience teaching a wide range of grade levels is highly preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons Practicing Catholic preferred, with a willingness to support and uphold Catholic teachings and traditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
