Group Recruitment & Training Coordinator - Co. Down
MCS Group is delighted to be supporting a well-established, multi-site organisation to recruit a Group Recruitment & Training Coordinator to join their People function. This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working across both talent attraction and employee development, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the organisation’s growth by ensuring the right people are hired and that employees are equipped with the skills and training they need to succeed.
The Role & Responsibilities This role offers a broad remit across recruitment and learning & development, providing variety and scope to make a real impact.
Recruitment & Talent Coordination
Manage recruitment activity across the group, supporting roles at varying levels
Source candidates through multiple channels and build strong talent pipelines
Coordinate interviews and selection processes with hiring managers
Act as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience
Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth starts for new hires
Training & Development Support
Coordinate induction programmes and ongoing training initiatives
Support the delivery and scheduling of internal and external training sessions
Maintain training records and track completion across the business
Support the management of learning systems and training documentation
Assist with evaluating training effectiveness and identifying development needs
The Ideal Candidate This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and working closely with people.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience in recruitment (in‑house or agency)
Exposure to training coordination or L&D support
Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office
CIPD qualification or working towards one (desirable)
A full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites (advantageous)
