HR Generalist - Co. Down - Permanent
MCS Group is currently supporting a manufacturing business in the appointment of an HR Generalist to join its people team at a pivotal point in the organisation's development.
The Role
Managing absence processes, including monitoring trends, advising managers, and supporting return-to-work processes
Supporting recruitment and retention activity
Handling employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and investigations
Supporting payroll administration and employee data changes
Preparing HR reports, metrics, and insights to support the SLT
Drafting and updating HR policies and documentation
Supporting the management of the ATS and HR systems
Contributing to the development of a wider people strategy
The Ideal Candidate
3-5 years' HR experience, ideally in a generalist or ER-focused role
Confident managing employee relations in a practical, pragmatic way
The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
CIPD qualification (advantageous)
Manufacturing experience (advantageous)
